Evaluation of Hospital Functions
The evaluation of hospital functions is an assessment of whether or not the evaluation standards for hospital functions are being achieved in terms of the hospital's philosophy, quality of healthcare, patient services and amenities, hospital administration, and other such areas defined by the Japan Council for Quality Healthcare, which is a third party evaluation organization for healthcare institutions. The process covers 500 or more evaluation items.
In January 2003, our hospital became the second hospital in Japan affiliated with a national university to receive Ver. 4.0 certification, which at that time was the highest standard. In July 2013, we received Ver. 6.0 certification, which was then the highest standard.
