This department provides various surgical treatments for the digestive organs, including the esophagus, stomach, small and large intestines, liver, and gallbladder, as well as for pancreatic, mammary gland, and thyroid diseases.
In particular:
1. Pancreaticoduodenectomy, distal pancreatectomy, and total pancreatectomy with preoperative chemotherapy for resectable pancreatic cancer
2. Spleen-preserving distal pancreatectomy for pancreatic benign or low-grade malignant tumor (intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm, etc.)
3. Extended liver resection together with preoperative portal vein for hilar cholangiocarcinoma and gallbladder cancer
4. Laparoscopic cholecystectomy for gallstones (including single-port surgery)
