Radiation Therapy

 This division handles the radiotherapy of malignant tumors in the entire body in cooperation with doctors from affiliated hospitals in the region.

 In particular:

 1.External beam radiation therapy using a linear accelerator

  1-1. Radiotherapy that aims to cure cancer without surgical intervention

     Head and neck cancer, lung cancer, esophageal cancer, uterine cancer, prostate cancer, malignant lymphoma, etc.

  1-2. Radiotherapy to reduce the risk of cancer recurrence after surgery

     Brain tumor, head and neck cancer, breast cancer, etc.

  1-3. Radiotherapy for the relief of symptoms

     Metastatic cancer, cancer recurrence after surgery, etc.

  1-4. Stereotactic radiotherapy

  1-5. Total body irradiation for hematopoietic cell transplantation

  1-6. Radiotherapy for benign diseases

     Thyroid eye disease, hemangiomas, keloids, etc.

 2.Radiotherapy using brachytherapy seeds

  Intracavitary brachytherapy with iridium, mainly for gynecological tumors

 3.Radiotherapy with unsealed radionuclides

  Treatment of thyroid cancer with iodine-131, treatment of prostate cancer with bone metastases with radium-223 chloride

 4.Second opinion on cancer treatment

 5.Contribution to community medicine by remote radiation therapy planning

 6.Consultation on heavy ion beam therapy and proton beam therapy
