Behavioral and Cognitive Neurology

 This department treats people with language, memory, behavior, and attention (higher brain dysfunction) disorders caused by brain diseases such as stroke, brain tumor, head injury, and Parkinson's disease. In addition, we also diagnose people who are suspected of having dementia and are aware that they experience forgetfulness and difficulty in speaking.

In particular:

1.Diagnosis and treatment when the following issues remain after the initial treatment of the brain disease

 ・Language impairment (aphasia)

 ・Visual-spatial cognitive impairment

 ・Memory impairment

 ・Conduct disorder not related to paralysis

 ・Executive functional disorders which have gradually deteriorated since the onset of the disease

2.Diagnosis and treatment of dementia (general dementia clinic)

 There are various symptoms such as forgetfulness and difficulty in speaking. We diagnose dementia and other illnesses and provide appropriate treatment.


If you are diagnosed with higher brain dysfunction, we will cooperate with the relevant departments to assist you in applying for the necessary disability certificate.
